In 2022, Molière would have been 400 years old ! On this occasion, the city of Versailles, and its Castle, intend to celebrate the author with several events.
Comedies-ballets and concerts
Starting with a large exhibition, at the Richaud space, which begins on January 15, the day of the birth of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin. But above all with a Molière cycle which spans the entire first semester of 2022, from January 4 to June 19, 2022. This Molière cycle takes place within the Royal Opera of Versailles, within the walls of the castle. A cycle composed of comedies-ballets and concerts, which begins with George Dandin or the confused husband directed by Michel Fau.

From June 9 to 19, 2022: Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme, directed by Denis Podalydès A nice program that puts Molière more than in the spotlight.
