To celebrate its 250th anniversary, the champagne house is selling tickets for a timeless journey aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express which will take place next June.

A special anniversary

This year 2022 will be marked by a special anniversary, that of Veuve Clicquot, which will celebrate its 250th anniversary. For an exceptional vintage, an exceptional device, the champagne house is thus imagining a whole program of festivities and is selling tickets for a journey out of time today. A privileged few will have the chance to board a legendary train: the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. From June 5, travelers will take part in a dreamlike getaway between Reims, the heart of Champagne, and Venice, destination of the first bottles of Veuve Clicquot shipped abroad from 1772.

The adventure will begin in Reims

The adventure will begin at sunrise in Reims , for a tour of the Crayères of Maison Clicquot and will continue with a tasting of the most exclusive cuvées with the House’s Cellar Master, Didier Mariotti. Then, head for the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe, for a dive into a timeless atmosphere. A dinner with food and champagne will be served on board. The next day, at dawn, it will be possible at sunrise over the Alps, from the cabin or in the morning light of Innsbruck station. Arrived in Venice, a boat will take passengers to Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, located on the island of Giudecca.

The closing dinner at sunset will mark the conclusion of this trip as exclusive as it is unique.
