Marmottan Monet Museum Paris
The iconic rising sun
The course of this private mansion bequeathed by Paul Marmottan and open to the public since 1934 allows you to discover the collections of works and art objects of the latter, as well as more modern rooms specifically arranged to exhibit the exceptional impressionist collection of this establishment now holding the world’s largest holdings of works by Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot. In addition to the works that Claude Monet kept from his friends – Eugène Boudin, Gustave Caillebotte, Pierre Auguste Renoir – the Marmottan Monet Museum exhibits the iconic Rising Sun Impression and a set of monumental paintings on the theme of water lilies.

The work of Berthe Morisot
With the impressionist painter Berthe Morisot, symphonies of green, blue, yellow and pink give the exhibited masterpieces an astonishing poetry. The entrance ticket allows access to all the spaces of the museum: rooms of the permanent collections (Monet, Morisot, Impressionists, Empire Marmottan), and temporary exhibition according to programming. To discover or re-discover absolutely.
