The novelist Michel Houellebecq will come back in June in Paris for his poetry show, already produced at the Printemps de Bourges.
More than thirty poems
« Existence à basse altitude » is a one-hour show with original music, where the author of « La Carte et le Territoire » declaims more than thirty poems. After having sold out in November at the Rex Club, Michel Houellebecq will perform again on June 27, 28 and 29, 2022 for 6 exceptional performances of the show Existence à basse altitude.
Limited public appearances
In the Rex Club transformed into a theatre, Michel Houellebecq, accompanied by Victorien Bornéat, Hugues Jourdain and Margot de Rochefort, will recite his poems, several of which did not appear in the first version of the show. The novelist limits his public appearances to the strict minimum. In addition to this poetic spectacle, he had given a conference in December in an amphitheater of the Sorbonne. The promotion of his novel published in January, « Anéantir« , was limited to an interview with Le Monde newspaper, a daily against which he lost a lawsuit in 2016 for breaches of copyright and professional secrecy.
