Every year for twenty years, the Rose Days in Chaalis, near Paris, have brought together nearly 15,000 visitors around the rose.

Nearly 15,000 visitors each year
Every year for twenty years, on the second weekend of June, the Rose Days bring together nearly 15,000 visitors around the queen of flowers, so pampered in Chaalis. More than a hundred exhibitors – horticulturists, nurserymen, rose growers, artists or artisans – offer their products, share their advice with passion and celebrate the rose in all its cuttings. Exhibitions, workshops and conferences take place within the estate. The rose garden, then in full bloom, takes visitors on a magical and unforgettable walk. The next Rose Days will take place on June 10, 11 and 12, 2022.

For the Rose lovers
Since 2001, the Rose Days have brought together rose lovers at the Domaine de Chaalis. Each edition is sponsored by an exceptional personality and highlighted by a theme. Big names, such as Yann Arthus-Bertrand, for an edition under the sign of botany and the environment, Pierre Hermé for gastronomy, Hélène Carrère d’Encausse, on the theme of poetry, Mathilde Seigner with the seventh art or Stéphane Bern with heritage, have already joined this annual event which, at the dawn of summer, brings together amateurs, professionals and visitors. The godfather or godmother of the year traditionally gives his name or that of his choice to a rose on the occasion of a “baptism of the rose”.

A delight for taste buds
Throughout these days, the Domaine de Chaalis offers you to experience a flowery getaway where entertainment, conferences and expert advice follow one another. Whether you are amateurs, fine connoisseurs, enthusiasts or occasional visitors, there is something for everyone! The park covered with thousands of roses offers a profusion of colors and scents. Among the exhibitors you will of course find many rose growers, horticulturists and nurserymen, garden decoration objects, garden landscaping and tools. Visitors can meet creators whose main muse is the rose: handicrafts, pigments, ceramics… The rose and fruits from our gardens also delight the taste buds: from candied flowers to macaroons, through honey, homemade jams, herbal products and other sweets, many gourmet breaks in perspective !
