A virtual aquarium is currently installed on the occasion of an exhibition at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche in Paris.
An immersive space
Waves of paint, stairs decorated with fish, a giant virtual aquarium. On the occasion of the exhibition “Like a fish in water”, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche invites the artistic collective teamLab. On the second floor of the store, discover the “Sketch aquarium*” installation and immerse yourself in a vast marine universe. Each visitor is invited to color an aquatic creature before seeing it come to life, once scanned, within the formidable teamLab aquarium. You can then interact with your clownfish and other squid, shark and seahorse.
Meet on the second floor of the Bon Marché Rive Gauche from February 25 to April 23 to discover this immersive space in the colors of the ocean.
To feel like a fish in water, Le Bon Marché celebrates well-being on all floors and is transformed into a veritable giant aquarium with the Japanese collective teamLab.
Guest of honor, the group of interdisciplinary artists, formed by Toshiyuki Inoko in 2001 in Tokyo, intertwines the elements of nature with technology. Within this vast space of 250 m2, artists, programmers, engineers, mathematicians and architects push the limits of art. Through the Sketch Aquarium, teamLab transforms an individual creative act into a co-creative activity, giving birth to a collective and dreamlike work.
