Hayao Miyasaki and his poetic animated films will be honored at the Quai Branly museum, a great first !

A summer event
This year, the summer event at the musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac adorns itself with the colors of Japan, with a dive into the heart of summer festivals what are natsumatsuri ! A program that echoes the hanging in the lobby of the Musée de la spectacular Aubusson tapestry Ashitaka relieves his demonic wound, depicting a scene from the Japanese animated movie Princess Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki, presented for the first time in Paris.
A free and fun program
Jardin d’été offers a free and fun program again this year for everyone, including the museum’s first open-air film festival
dedicated to the best Japanese animated films signed by the masters Hayao Miyazaki and Takata. The opening weekend of July 8 and 9 kicks off the festivities with activities to do as a family or individually. Quizzes and games, workshops, tales, visits, meetings, initiations, concerts… So many free proposals and fun to discover in the garden designed by Gilles Clément. These festivities will end on Sunday August 27 during the closing concert co-organized with Royaumont Abbey which will give pride of place to percussions from around the world.
