The several lives of a Parisian restaurant

This pretty storefront has had several lives Located between rue Vaugirard and rue Madame, the Pont Traversé was the bookstore of the writer and poet Marcel Béalu. Take a look at its storefront, you will then discover beef heads and enamel plaques, clues to its former vocation: that of butcher's shop, in fact this bookstore was a former butcher's shop classified as a historic monument. The bookstore is now closed since November 2019 and has made way for a restaurant!

I love you Wall in Montmartre, a lovely love declaration

This lovely wall is located in my favourite sopt of Paris : Abesses district . Le Mur des je t'aime is a 40 m² mural composed of 612 enamelled lava tiles reproducing 311 “I love you” in 250 languages. "I love you" in all common languages, but also in rare or forgotten dialects such as Navajo, Inuit, Bambara or Esperanto.

This is my favourite district of Paris and It miss me so much to wander in Its streets... Some of the pics I took there...

Paris Glimpses

It miss me so much not to be able to go in Paris and photograph this city I love so much. Here are some glimpses of my last day in Paris a few weeks ago.

Ranonculus

These flowers are among my favourites. As a photographer I think they are one of the most photogenical flowers !

Cherry blossom trees

This is one of the reason I love spring, to photograph the flower trees blossoming ! It's just the beginning of the season, I have tons of photographs to make !

The most beautiful Carousels of Paris

The carousels are undeniably part of the Parisian landscape as are the metro entrances, the lampposts, the Wallace fountains ... You can admire them everywhere in Paris (at the Jardin des Plantes, Place Saint-Pierre in Montmartre, Parc Monceau , Place du Trocadéro ...) and immerse ourselves in the Paris of yesteryear.
