Pink Floyd symphonic show takes over the Salle Pleyel on January 15, 2022. After The Australian Pink Floyd show, Best of Floyd, Brit Floyd and The Floyd Tribute, here is “Back to the Floyd”, a new tribute concert to Pink Floyd. Except this one is a symphonic concert. This 2 hour show synthesizes the period during which all the members of Pink Floyd shared the same artistic vision.
A lot of Pink floyd tribute bands
For this new retrospective, period instruments in “live”, lasers, and the video support a scenography and a rendering that will take us a few decades back … Pink Floyd, is no longer in business since 1996, except for a few reunions in the 2000s (when David Gilmour and Roger Waters pursue solo careers and perform regularly on stage), is probably one of the groups with the most tribute bands and other tribute concerts.
A symphonic concert
With Back to the Floyd, the experience offered is somewhat different since it is a symphonic concert given by the Lille Symphony Orchestra La Folia composed of 80 musicians, the Adventi vocal ensemble formed by 24 choristers. and 9 rock musicians and singers. It must be said that the progressive rock of Pink Floyd and its very long instrumental parts lends itself particularly well to symphonic orchestration.
