On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Marcel Proust, the Festival du Paris retrouvé par Marcel Proust invites you from March 9 to 21, 2022 in several emblematic places in the life of the writer.

A journey into the universe of Marcel Proust

With more than thirty events concerts, readings, conferences, exhibitions, creations and walking tours, scheduled for thirteen days, the 2nd edition of this festival « Le Paris retrouvé de Marcel Proust » invites the public on a journey into the universe of Marcel Proust in emblematic Parisian places. To celebrate the centenary of the death of Marcel Proust, several days of festivities are planned from March 9 to 21, 2022, in different Parisian places on the Plaine Monceau.

An homage to Marcel Proust

The Hôtel Littéraire Le Swann, the Jean-Jacques Henner museum and the Fontaine Haussmann bookshop, or the Société des Hôtels Littéraires. These places where Marcel Proust left his mark wanted to pay homage to the author of La Recherche du Temps Perdu. On the program, literature lovers can go in search of Marcel Proust during thematic walks or even admire the exhibition dedicated to the author at the Carnavalet museum. The Jean-Jacques Henner Museum invites you to take an interest in the artistic life and salons of the Belle-Époque with a series of concerts, balls, walks, costume parties and meetings. An exhibition will be dedicated to the writer at the Winter Garden of the Jean-Jacques Henner Museum, exhibiting intimate objects.
