The famous song of Stromae has also become the name of a movie thanks to the director Michèle Laroque, who intends to give good humor to the spectators.
Her third comedy as a director
In 2022, Michèle Laroque releases her third comedy as a director. In “Alors On Danse”, a feel good movie which arrives at the cinema on March 16, 2022, Michèle Laroque (who also plays there) notably directs Isabelle Nanty, Patrick Timsit, Thierry Lhermitte and Jean-Hugues Anglade. In this story, the character played by Michèle Laroque is determined to take her life back after discovering her husband’s infidelities. Sandra takes refuge with her sister Danie. Opposite to each other, they find themselves around their common passion: dance. With the nickel-plated feet of the choreography Lucien and Roberto, friends of her sister, Sandra finally finds the freedom and the touch of madness that her life was missing.
A second chance
After Brillantissime and Everyone at home, Michèle Laroque goes behind the camera again. His new – and third – film, the comedy “Alors on danse” will be released in theaters on March 16, 2022. Unlike her two previous feature films, for which she wrote the original screenplays, with So On Danse, Michèle Laroque adapts, in French, Finding Your Feet, a British romantic comedy by Richard Loncraine, released in 2018 in the United Kingdom. For this new movie, the director, who also plays in her film, has assembled a large cast. In So On Danse, Michèle Laroque directs and plays opposite Isabelle Nanty, Thierry Lhermitte and Patrick Timsit. But also Jean-Hugues Anglade, Alysson Paradis, , Jeanne Balibar and the dancer and choreographer Sofiane Chalal.
