The story is set in the 70s, and will pit Gru against a group of super villains. On the side of the small yellow characters, a new Minion appears: Otto, who wears magnificent braces and who seems to feel a desperate need to please. Once Upon a Time Gru picks up where the previous film, The Minions, which grossed $1.16 billion worldwide, left off. In this sequel set in the 70s, the little yellow beings rally around Gru as the young villain plots to join a group of supervillains known as the Vicious 6. But nothing goes as planned and Gru suddenly becomes their sworn enemy. Forced to flee, the young villain will need his best friends. Kevin, Stuart, Bob and Otto will then do everything to try to help their mini-boss. Including learning kung fu as revealed in this new trailer full of action and gags. The film sees the return of Steve Carell as Gru and Pierre Coffin as the Minions, as well as Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews and Alan Arkin.
