Founded in 1973
A hard rock band founded in Queens, New York in 1973 by guitarist Paul Stanley and bassist Gene Simmons, Kiss released their self-titled debut album in 1974, followed by “Hotter Than Hell” the same year, which helped the band establish his notoriety. Recognizable among a thousand thanks to their look and their make-up, the four members go on tours and are propelled to the top of the charts. At the end of the 1970s, Kiss was the most popular group in the United States. Despite many changes within the formation, the discs follow each other and meet with immense success.
