The village of Camon is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France with its rich heritage: the 10th century abbey, the old vaulted door of the church, its houses with Romanesque tiles and its dry stone winegrowers’ huts. La Rose is particularly appreciated to the point of having a conservatory rose garden in the village. The 3rd weekend of May flowering is at its peak. It is therefore quite naturally the moment chosen for the Fête des Roses and its Music Festival. For a weekend, the village of Camon welcomes leading artists to offer concerts of excellence. Associated for 5 years with the Rose Festival of this medieval city, the Music Festival attracts nearly 5000 people at each edition.

– from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Gourmet and floral market in the streets of Camon – Walk to the cabins Gourmet and floral market, cultural events in the cloister of the Abbey, concerts in the church. A meal is offered made up of local products. It’s a party that always enchants.

The 400 rose bushes in the village are then at their peak and the floral market further amplifies the charm of this day. Many volunteers work hard to give this festival an exceptional cachet, which sees visitors from all over the region. The inhabitants who are keen to show the beauty of their village also participate in the promotion of the Rose Festival. It is a beautiful animation carried by a whole village for the pleasure of the greatest number. For the past few years, a music festival has enriched this very beautiful celebration !
