From June 15 to September 11, fall for the tasty and now unmissable Signature frozen cookies from Pastry Chef Matthieu Carlin of the Hotel Crillon Paris.
A pretty little beach hut
In recent days, temperatures have reached record highs. So to fight this heat wave in an effective and gourmet way, we go to the Hôtel de Crillon Paris, on Place de la Concorde. It is in front of the facade built in 1758 by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, that the Pastry Chef of the Palace, Matthieu Carlin, has just opened a pretty little beach hut. From June 15 to September 11, from Wednesday to Sunday, you can crack and bite into its delicious frozen cookies (€10). They are available in five new flavors. the hotel’s pastry chef makes it a point to offer us creations that are not very sweet, which highlight the natural flavors by often bringing a regressive and comforting touch.
A multitude of scents
You can choose from a multitude of scents, for example : passion fruit (macadamia nut cookie, exotic caramel, passion fruit ice cream, macadamia nuts) ? Unless you prefer the recipe of the moment which varies according to the Chef’s wishes… To push the limits of indulgence, each week, chef Carlin will offer a new limited-edition fragrance. Something to make us melt with pleasure. You can accompany them with a refreshing drink including delicious iced green tea and homemade lemonade. Then, all you have to do is enjoy the beauty of the Place de la Concorde, the charm of the Tuileries Gardens or even treat yourself to a visit to the Hôtel de la Marine which is also celebrating its first anniversary !
Place de la Concorde – Paris Open Wednesday to Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from June 15.
