Morzine has kept the charm and authenticity of the Haut-Savoyard villages, offering its visitors a real way of life in the mountains !
The authentic charm of a village in the French Alps
Located halfway between Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva, at an altitude of 1000 meters, the ski resort of Morzine nestles in a mountain setting, between forests and peaks. It cultivates the sweetness of life and the authentic charm of a village in the French Alps which has lost none of its Haute Savoyard character. Authentic Morzine, nestled around its picture-postcard little village, with its wooden chalets and typical slate roofs, rubs shoulders with its close neighbor Avoriaz the visionary, anchored a little higher on its rocky outcrop. From their alliance was born Morzine Avoriaz.
A great place for entertainment
A perfectly complementary double destination. Morzine Avoriaz is a great place for entertainment: skiing, live music, gastronomy, heritage, architecture, contemplation and idleness… Much more than a destination, it is above all a French way of life, an art of living in the mountains, the art of making, transmitting memories and moments shared from generation to generation. An immersive experience where you quickly feel part of its history, its places, its memory. You are here in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area, one of the largest ski areas in the world. With a Swiss side and a French side, this space offers the originality of bringing together two cultures. From the center of Morzine, you can access the Morzine-Les Gets sector on skis and via the Super Morzine gondola, you quickly reach the Avoriaz area.
One of the largest ski areas in the world
The Domaine des Portes du Soleil thus offers you an unrivaled area and a unique diversity of landscapes.
