Experience a unique evening at the Château de Versailles on the occasion of the first edition of the Bal du Siècle.
Animated dances that everyone can practice
On June 30, 1923, the Château de Versailles hosted an exceptional evening in honor of the end of its restoration, the Fête Merveilleuse… 100 years later, we invite you to travel from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century, d ‘Offenbach in Mistinguett, the time of a grand ball (3 hours) in the sublime Galerie des Batailles. This ball will give pride of place to animated dances that everyone can practice, from the “storm”, the “American jig”, the “fantasies”, the “Pol Jones”, the “animal dances”, Charleston and others evolving dances which will be explained to you the same evening just before dancing them… as with the most advanced and romantic dances, waltzes, tango, foxtrot…
