The King’s musketeers are ready to face the mysterious Milady de Winter and the ambiguous Cardinal de Richelieu in the sequel to the film The Three Musketeers – D’Artagnan. Martin Bourboulon is once again directing this second part – shot at the same time as the first – and the first images revealed promise an adventure film even more epic and moving than the previous one ! Discover without further delay the trailer for this year’s event film : From the Louvre to Buckingham Palace, via the dark streets of Paris to the siege of La Rochelle, the film plunges us into a tumultuous era, marked by religious wars and the constant threat of invasion from England.

In this dense historical context, a few emblematic characters will stand out, crossing their swords and putting their destiny on the line for the greatness of France. The screenplay, adapted from Alexandre Dumas’ masterpiece, was entrusted to Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière. In The Three Musketeers – Milady, François Civil, Pio Marmaï, Romain Duris and Vincent Cassel find their musketeer swords facing Eva Green and her enigmatic role of Milady.

More personal issues

After the events of the first movie, tensions are highest within the Kingdom of France and the King is ready to march on La Rochelle to put a definitive end to the Protestant revolt. It is in this delicate context that our musketeers must also confront more personal issues, starting with the kidnapping of Constance… The Three Musketeers – Milady presents itself as an ambitious film of cloaks and daggers, full of bravery, of heroism and fraternity and promises to lift the veil – in part – on the main antagonist of the musketeers…
