Timeless objects in Limoges porcelain
Alix D. Reynis sculpts the material. She creates timeless objects in Limoges porcelain and imagines delicate lines of jewelry in vermeil and gold. Self-taught, this lover of gesture translates the beauty of the details that surround her and unearths the treasures of History here and there. Sometimes these are works seen at the Guimet Museum, a shape hidden on a Parisian balcony or the detail of a fabric painted by Diego Velasquez. All of her work explores both collective memory and intimate memories.

Delicate imperfections
Using traditional techniques, Alix D. Reynis perpetuates know-how and defends the authenticity of artisan work. The irregularity of a row of engraved pearls, a vegetable dish with a slightly hidden appearance, these pieces live from their delicate imperfections, signs of the human being at the heart of creation. It is also a way of offering lasting luxury that perpetuates the emotion. Pure, refined, simple and timeless are the adjectives that best define the style of the porcelain objects designed by Alix D. Reynis. It is by drawing inspiration from our daily lives and our heritage that the designer combines traditional and modern forms with the characters of antiquity and the Orient such as laurel, the cross or acanthus interlacing. Her pieces are all unique and their slight irregularities testify to the work of the craftsman’s hand.

A unique interior
The porcelain collections are all worked to harmonize with each other: whether they are sculpted or decorated, Alix D. Reynis particular care is taken to ensure that they can be mixed to create a unique interior. Handmade in the traditional way in Limoges porcelain, imperfect and yet so elegant, our pieces are all different and demonstrate the manual work of the artisan. Fine and translucent but resistant to everyday use, porcelain can easily be put in the microwave, oven and dishwasher. Her porcelain collections are all worked to harmonize with each other : whether they are sculpted or decorated, she takes particular care to ensure that they can be mixed to create a unique table.
