An icon of the waffle

A true Lille institution, the Méert waffles with Madagascar vanilla is not just a pastry, it is above all a name, an emblem, almost an icon. A blend of artisanal know-how and regional tradition, the Méert waffle is available in many new flavors.
Blonde, thin, oval and stamped in the middle, the Maison Méert waffle is recognizable among thousands.
Maison Méert waffles are cooked between two waffle irons then cut out with a cookie cutter and hand-filled with vanilla cream. The recipe, unchanged for more than 250 years, provides a crunchy-soft tasting pleasure that many generations* of gourmands recognize.

Supplier to His Majesty the King of the Belgians”.
The brioche dough is filled along its entire length with a “butter, sugar and Madagascar vanilla” recipe. You can buy it individually in Méert boutiques or in packs, of six or twelve pieces, recognizable by their golden packaging.
From 1864 Maison Méert became “Supplier to His Majesty the King of the Belgians”.
Maison Méert offers more than one sweet specialty to discover! Travel cakes in their pretty cylindrical boxes, fruit jellies, chocolates in magnificent boxes or in brightly colored bars… The entire sweet universe is thought out and created using good flavors and joyful visuals.
