A parisian tradition
All Parisians have gone there as children and then take their children there, the small boats in the Tuileries Garden have been part of Parisian family ritual outings for several generations.
For children delight and their parents
The boats are rented for 4 euros for 30 minutes to children who will have to navigate them to the center of the pool using a stick. The boats are made or painted and their sails sewn by hand by their owner who brings them by cart every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon to the Tuileries to the delight of toddlers and their parents.
