Entering BocaMexa gives us the opportunity to travel to Paris, every detail that dresses the Bocamexa canteen in Faubourg Saint-Denis invites us to the heart of Mexico. Created in 2010 by a young Franco-Mexican couple, (Julien and Alejandra), Bocamexa offers authentic Mexican cuisine, including pastor à la broche, a traditional dish prepared from mountain pork and pineapple. The menu is enriched by the presence in the kitchen of a team of Mexicans and Latinos with some regional specialties . The products used are always very fresh. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas are prepared and cooked to order and served with more or less spicy sauces. The vegetables acquire their delicious flavors by cooking on the plancha. And to wash down all these dishes, Bocamexa offers a house beer, the Nacional.

A rich menu

On the menu at the Bocamexa restaurant, the best of Mexican street food. Chicken pibil, “Al pastor” spit-roasted pork loin, home-made chorizo, seven-hour simmered barbacoa beef and a team of shockers who fill out excellent burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Made according to the rules of the art, Bocamexa’s maxi burritos combine black beans, rice, cream, onions for the base, then it’s according to the recipes. For thirst, craft beer designed in Mexican style by Bocamexa, La Nacional, a sunny beer with a discreet scent of hibiscus flower. And to prolong the evening, Bocamexa provides musical instruments, guitar and piano in its downstairs room, El Clandestino!
