After Les Combattants, in which Kevin Azaïs and Adèle Haenel went on a survivalist mission during an internship in the army, French director Thomas Cailley is preparing his second feature entitled Le Règne animal, with Adèle Exarchopoulos, Romain Duris and Paul Kircher. This time, Thomas Cailley tackles transhumanism, with a story about a mysterious genetic mutation from human to animal. According to the synopsis relayed by Cineuropa, “society adapts, supports and tries to treat its “creatures” in specialized centers. But a convoy has an accident, and the Creatures scatter in nature…” Entitled “Le règne animal“, it will bring together Adèle Exarchopoulos, soon to star in Rien à foutre, Romain Duris, who will soon be seen in the three musketeers .
