He had a triumph on the stage of the Accor Arena 5 years ago, the french trumpeter returns there for a concert which promises to be breathtaking on April 27th !
Ibrahim Maalouf returns to the Accor Arena 5 years after his historic concert which made him the first jazzman in history to sell out in this mythical place. Remember that the trumpeter has already published 13 albums and collaborated on numerous soundtracks. He notably composed titles for the biopic “Yves Saint Laurent” directed by Jalil Lespert. He is the only trumpeter in the world to play Arabic music with the “quarter-tone trumpet”, invented by his father in the 1960s. Ibrahim is also a winner of the greatest classical trumpet competitions in the world. In July 2010, he received the Victory for instrumental revelation of the year (Frank Ténot prize)[1] at the Victoires du Jazz, in Juan-les-Pins.
