The Grand Palais invites us to discover its festival dedicated to artistic creation in Augmented Reality from June 17 to 19, 2022.
Palais Augmented, the first festival dedicated to artistic creation in augmented reality and immersive cultural innovations, whose inaugural edition in 2021 met with great success with the public, returns this year with a program enriched with new digital experiences with the theme common alchemy and collective energy. This festival aims to be a real inventory of technological innovations related to culture. On the program for this second edition: a journey of new works in augmented reality created by international artists accessible from visitors’ smartphones, interactive technological experiences in demonstration spaces called “labs” and a cycle of conferences over three days addressing themes related to contemporary digital creation.
Re-enchant our world
Among the artists exhibited, you can discover the work of Mouawad and Laurier, Ittah Yoda and Gourau Phong. Each artist and artist duo created several digital installations for the occasion. With the augmented reality process, they can play with our perception of reality, question and re-enchant our world and the way we look at it. All the programming must be unveiled in detail on May 9, 2022, as must the opening of reservations. New technologies allow creative minds to bring incredible works to life. The Palais Augmenté festival wants to highlight these new tools and show that art evolves with technology.
from June 17 to 19, 2022.
