An emblematic hotel
Inspired by the establishment’s emblematic Art Deco style and the colors of the Côte d’Azur, interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon has brought The Martinez Hotel hotel back to life. It was in 1929, in the heart of a fabulous landscape, between the Big Blue, the fine sandy beaches, and the dozens of palm trees that the Martinez Hotel was established at 73 Boulevard de La Croisette.
A metamorphosed decor
In the spring of 2018, the Hotel Martinez reconnects with its origins and writes a new chapter in its history by unveiling a metamorphosed decor under the aegis of the architect Pierre-Yves Rochon. The architect sculpted a new face for the Hotel Martinez by drawing inspiration from its beautiful origins on the French Riviera and its Art Deco style, ideally combining contemporary luxury with the Mediterranean art of living. In this momentum of change and renewal, the hotel has joined « The Unbound Collection by Hyatt » which brings together establishments that have in common to be unique.
1930’s outdoor receptions
Opened in May 2018, the restaurant Le Jardin du Martinez offers seats on a terrace in the shade of palm trees and cypresses. When the weather is nice, it organizes 1930s-themed outdoor receptions. You can also enjoy a gastronomic experience while admiring the view of the Croisette at the restaurant La Palme d’Or, awarded 2 stars in the Michelin guide. and specializes in cinema-inspired cuisine. Located on the beach, La Plage du Martinez restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine based on local produce and fresh seafood. Celebrating the hotel’s past, the Martinez bar prepares various cocktails and gin and tonics, and offers a culinary show at dinner on a Teppanyaki plancha.
