In the heart of Paris, in the restaurant called Dumbo, Charles Ganem and Samuel Nataf, street food enthusiasts, have decided to import the cooking technique from the United States to offer Parisians and visitors from all over the world the smash burger. Here, no ultra-thick steak but a patty plated on a hot griddle to make it thin and crispy while keeping its juices and flavor. Decorated with a traditional ketchup/mustard sauce, crunchy homemade pickles, ultra-melting US cheese, and all accompanied by delicious fries cooked in two batches.

After teaming up last September with Bertrand Grébaut and Théo Pourriat from the Paris restaurant Septime to create an exceptional burger, Dumbo is collaborating this summer with Moma Group to create a summer terrace at the foot of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. The two partners, in tandem with Benjamin Patou the king of Parisian nights, unveil Dumbo Park, a restaurant, ephemeral guinguette on an XXL terrace of 300m² between the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and the Palais de Tokyo and enjoying a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. On the menu, you will find the classics that make Dumbo Pigalle so successful, the classic cheeseburger and the ultra soft bun cheeseburger, but also an exclusive vegetarian version.
An ice-cream sandwitch
And for even more novelty, an ice cream sandwich was invented and created the surprise effect, just in time for the arrival of sunny days. In terms of decoration, the place, which is open every day from noon, is intended as “an encounter between Pigalle, the Trocadéro and the Colline de Chaillot” with seats like the stools and crates of Dumbo Pigalle, which Here, an all-wood structure and antique furniture rub shoulders.
