“The World Of Banksy” takes you on an enchanting journey with Banksy, the master of the streets, who has gone on to become a world-renowned entertainer.
A fascinating artist
Since its beginnings, Banksy has fascinated and challenged by its many works as beautiful as they are committed but also by its mysterious side. World famous street-artist, no one knows who hides behind this pseudonym even if many seek to unlock the secret. Banksy was born in Bristol, Great Britain, around the year 1974. He became a must in the world of Street Art in the mid-1990s with his provocative and unique style that made him a legend. In 2010, a documentary is dedicated to him, Make the Wall!, which aims to study the difficult relationship between street art and the commercial world that surrounds us.

Bansky is everywhere !
Today, there are thousands who want to see and take pictures of the artist’s many murals scattered around the world. From London to New York via Paris… Banksy is everywhere ! The experience begins at the lowest level with some of Banksy’s works from private collections. We find there in particular the « Gangsta Rat » but also the « Consumer Jesus » or the « Toxic Mary » intelligently diverting religion. Above, we find the essential « Kissing Coppers » illustrating the famous kiss between two British police officers but also the work « Turf War » where Winston Churchill is transformed into a punk icon with a green crest.

An immersive experience
Then there are the impressive reproductions of Banksy murals, created here by a dozen street graffiti artists from all over the world. The latter worked for a month, day and night, to recreate these incredible frescoes (in real size) within the different corners of the Espace Lafayette-Drouot ! In the end, « The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience » offers us a very beautiful artistic journey within the unique, committed and subversive universe of Banksy. A piece of advice, do not hesitate to (re)discover this beautiful installation around Banksy !
