On Sunday June 26, the 17th edition of the Grand Siècle Day will be held at the Vaux-le-Vicomte castle. A costumed day at the Grand Siècle

The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a family residence but also a major place for celebrations at the time of Nicolas Fouquet, invites you to go back in time during a day to return to the time of the Sun King and the artists of the Great Century ! Every year, thousands of costumed visitors and onlookers flock to the gates of the castle, dressed in their best clothes to experience a day at the 17th century court in the ideal setting of the palace that inspired the Palace of Versailles.

The prize for the “most beautiful lunch on the grass” crowns the day and rewards the most extravagant and sumptuous, bucolic and sumptuous stagings, in the French gardens created by Le Nôtre.
