Big Mamma is certainly the most popular restaurant of the moment in Paris, the recipe for success: irresistible Italian cuisine !

Two lovers of Italian cuisine
To enter Big Mamma, you have to be patient. The Italian restaurant concept launched by Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux has been a hit since its establishment in Paris in April 2015. You only have to see the long queues in front of the restaurant to prove this success….But what are all these Parisians waiting for? They are hungry ! Hunger for Italy… and for the warm and sophisticated atmosphere offered by the Big Mamma restaurants of Tigrane Seydoux and Victor Lugger, two friends passionate about Italian cuisine.

A unique atmosphere
Their first trattoria, East Mamma, opened in the spring of 2015, featuring typical dishes. This was followed by wood-fired cooking at Ober Mamma, fresh pasta at Mamma Primi, ricotta pancakes at Biglove Caffé, steaks alla Fiorientina at Pink Mamma and finally five-euro margheritas at Pizza Popolare. All this, cooked with ingredients from hand-picked small producers and served by smiling young Italians at competitive prices, in exotic settings. A few words about the place: it is stunning ! It is rich in detail, in colors, in material, in texture. He juggles, with precision and dexterity, with shadow and light. The decor of this restaurant in Paris 9 is a fascinating spectacle! And the kitchen? She is Italian, Tuscan, Florentine. Naturally, everything is homemade in this splendid place. One of its flagship products is the T-Bone steak. It is grilled, weighs 1 kg. The grill, it seems, is 3 meters long and is fueled with cherry wood and quebracho. Each floor has its own atmosphere and identity, whose refinement and decor, which is just as cutting-edge, have nothing to envy to their predecessors. Mixtures of green and blue, rattan armchairs, wild ivy, omnipresent flowers, jars concealing a thousand and one treasures, floral tapestries, retro bar in yellow Siena marble, old plates plastered on the walls… not forgetting, of course, the sublime glass roof on the top floor which bathes a small piece of the Garden of Eden in light !
