The Louvre Museum is offering visitors the opportunity to conduct a new free and fun outdoor survey, in the Tuileries Garden this summer.

A fun survey

The Tuileries Garden has not finished revealing all its secrets ! After the success of its first edition which brought together more than 12,500 players in the summer of 2021, the Secret d’Arcadie game is making a comeback from July 9 to August 28, 2022 in the Tuileries Garden. For this second edition, the Louvre Museum is offering visitors the opportunity to conduct a new free and fun outdoor survey. The opportunity, with friends or family, to discover or rediscover the richness of the garden, getting lost through the groves and strolling along the paths. Designed by L’Equipe ludic in close collaboration with the gardeners of the Tuileries, Secret d’Arcadie 2 is based on puzzles of observation, reflection and logic. The course of approximately 1 hour combines poetry, history and awareness of biodiversity and the garden’s heritage, with surprises in store.

The aim of the game :

Welcome to Arcadia, visitors. You couldn’t have been better off ! For several years, people have been looking for one of its most illustrious inhabitants without success : an exceptional woman, an Arcadian so lively that we cannot distinguish her with the naked eye. Will you be able to find her? Fortunately, artists have for centuries designed works that reveal, beyond the appearances of the Tuileries Garden, the nature of Arcadia. Follow their eyes and you will see too. Play with friends or family and try to solve the Secret of Arcadia 2. (The puzzles and the course of Secret of Arcadia 2 are different from those of last year. It is not necessary to have participated in the last year’s game to play this year’s game.)

A free game

This free game will take place every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. On the day of the game, please present yourself with your ticket at the “Reception – Start of the game” point located in the Jardin des Tuileries at the reserved time. The game takes place independently: the reception agents present in the garden will give you your game equipment. At the end of the course, each team will be able to answer an additional question by email to secretdarcadie@louvre.fr, which will make it possible to designate the “Big winners of the week”. Entrance tickets to the museum and flower bulbs from the Tuileries Garden are up for grabs. Reservation required on ticketlouvre.fr.
