With its chandeliers with crystal pendants, its wrought iron shelves and its art deco facade, the “Boulangerie du Moulin de la Galette” seems to have remained the same since the 1920s and that is what makes it so charming. Its owner, Boris Lumé is a former student of the prestigious Ferrandi school and worked for chefs Joel Robuchon and Cyril Lignac before settling in this pretty boulnagerie on rue Caulaincout, in the heights of Montmartre. Boris Lumé only uses pure flour in his pastries and baguettes. Everything is delicious: Matcha log, pistachio tart, Baba with Grand Marnier … and all without any coloring, bravo!
