A trip back in time
Entering Marin Montagut‘s boutique means taking a magnificent trip back in time and finding yourself in the heart of a cabinet of curiosities.
Son of an antique dealer, bargain hunter and traveler, we find the whole world of Marin in the scenography of 48 rue Madame, between old Paris terracotta tiles, Zuber wallpapers, furniture for sale and his antique grocery store where his finds are exhibited and his obsession with artistic craftsmanship and the most unique know-how.

Singular objects
Entering her store is first of all a specific smell. That of orange blossom, her favorite scent. He made it into soaps and a Bonjour Sicily candle in which hides a map of his island of love. A true Marin signature, of course we find his wonderful tableware and star cushions (starting at € 110), all stamped with his illustrations of Paris such as the Luxembourg chair, the Marais … like his splendid silk scarves , all made in a silk factory in Lyon (from € 90).
You just have to browse around the shop and its wall of curiosities and let yourself be carried away by its desires: lovely stationery, decorative plates and cross-stitch cushions on which we will find hand-embroidered posters of concerts where he “would have loved it. to go”. The ultimate gift: the marvelous display cases (starting at € 255) made by hand from his Montmartre workshop or even the secret books, inspired by the 13th century.
