It’s an exceptional charity sale. No less than 215 lots of furniture typical of the Parisian metro were auctioned on the Internet from this Friday, November 26. The sale will end on Friday, December 3, and the money collected will be donated to the RATP Social Collection, a network branch that has been offering assistance to homeless people in the metro since 1994. Among the lots as exceptional as they are cumbersome, pairs of metro train doors dating from the 1950s, a metro facade from the 1960s with the old red and blue RATP logo estimated between 1,500 and 2,000 euros, or even dozens of colorful round seats on the metro platforms. Notice to amateurs and collectors of rare objects!
