She worked for luxury hotels
Claire Damon started cooking in 1993, then realized that she wanted to offer her own creations by working alongside Pierre Hermé, at Ladurée. She then went to luxury hotels, the Bristol and the Plaza Athénée, then opened a pastry house in 2006 with the baker David Granger, Des Gateaux et Du Pain, where she practices her profession with high standards, determination and greed. Then comes a second shop of the same name located rue du Bac.
Quality and respect for the environment
The two Parisian boutiques of Claire Damon are very elegant, with a dominant black and play of light that highlight the pastries. Claire Damon works with small involved French producers who share her values: quality and respect for the environment. Organic free-range eggs of French origin, almonds from Provence, fruits, organic French flour, extra fresh butter, Noirmoutier salt… The products are made by hand, in our workshop and with respect for seasonality, without additives or colorings.
