A new studio album

This is news that fans have been waiting for for a long time : Placebo will give several concerts in France in 2022. The group had started rehearsing to go back on tour soon. While the group is due to release its new studio album Never Let Me go on March 25, Placebo has decided to accompany this new opus with a mini intimate concert tour. This small presentation tour of the album obviously passes through Paris with a concert scheduled for Wednesday March 23, 2022 in an intimate Parisian venue that has not yet been unveiled. Placebo has announced a series of dates in France in partnership with RTL2.

Only five dates

Placebo will go through the Zénith de Nancy on November 10, 2022, then through Paris at the Accor Arena on November 11, Bordeaux at the Arkéa Arena on November 13, before finishing on November 14 at Liberté in Rennes. Never Let Me Go is Placebo’s 8th studio album, which was preceded by the release of the single Beautiful James last September. The British band, led by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, had already planned a tour including festivals abroad this summer. But, surprise, Placebo is so impatient to find the stage and the public, that the group has decided to organize a mini European tour of intimate shows, with only five dates (Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin), for the release of the new album. The opportunity for fans to listen to the group’s new titles, live, for the first time. The ticket office for this Parisian concert, and the others, opens on March 17 at 10 a.m., with priority given to fans who have pre-ordered the group’s new album. Official site : placebo-store.fr
