Musée Grévin

An immersion in the history

The visit to the museum begins in a funny way, in the Palais des Mirages in a room created for the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900, functioning like a giant kaleidoscope capable of multiplying the room to infinity thanks to to optical illusions. Inside, the sound and light games manage to transport visitors from a mysterious Hindu temple to a huge tropical jungle, passing through a Maharaja’s palace. After experiencing the Hall of Mirages, visitors are invited to relive some of the most important events of the 20th century. You will also find yourself immersed in the history of France since the Middle Ages, and will be invited to go to the theater of the museum, where many celebrities invite you to meet. From the Middle Ages to the present day, reconstructed scenes immerse you in the history of France: the world wars, the first step on the Moon, the fall of the Berlin Wall. Another curiosity: the Palace of mirages, which gives the impression of getting lost in infinity thanks to a play of mirrors and lights.
