A beach cabin bearing his name
Jesse Eisenberg, who plays in “When You Finish Saving The World“, presented this Sunday at the American Film Festival unveiled on September 4 a beach cabin bearing his name on the Promenade des Planches. On this occasion, he took the time to sign a few autographs and pose in front of the board in his name. He thus joins John Travolta, Sean Connery or Clint Eastwood, who also have their boards.

A French city that celebrates American cinema
“As you can probably tell from my physique and my complexion, I very rarely go to the beach so it’s a wonderful reason to come to the beach now,” he joked to AFP. “It’s amazing to me that there is a city in France that celebrates American cinema because, as an American, we think of France as the pinnacle and so I feel very honored to be welcomed and that my film is shown,” he added.
Revealed in “the Social Network”
Jesse Eisenberg was revealed to the world in 2011 by David Fincher’s “The Social Network“, in which he played Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg. But he already had some solid performances behind him, turning in particular under the direction of Noah Baumbach in “The Berkmans separate”. Since then, he has made his way between major Hollywood films – “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” by Zack Snyder and auteur films – “Night Moves” by Kelly Reichardt, “Café Society” by Woo¬dy Allen and more recently “Vivarium” by Lorcan Finnegan. In Deauville, he came with a film under his arms, his first as a director, “When you finish saving the world”, which opened Critics’ Week.
