Annecy is a city of gastronomy served in restaurants in the old town or in a dream setting by the lake surrounded by mountains

Here is a (non-exhaustive) list of the best restaurants in Annecy :

Restaurant L’Etagere

On the main avenue of Geneva, at 75, in a working-class district of Annecy, there is a high-quality Italian trattoria-caterer. The dishes offered, based on recipes and ingredients from Italy, stand out from a pizzeria. No pizza here but delicious mozzarella salads, fresh pasta recipes like pistachio pesto pasta, a delight. The desserts are well made. For less than twenty euros for the main course and the dessert, the value for money is unbeatable. Original detail: the pasta dishes are served in pots. The ranking and selection of the five best restaurants in Annecy is necessarily subjective, but it reflects the culinary quality of restaurateurs who are passionate about their profession.

La Taverne Fischer

La Taverne Fischer is the restaurant among the first 3 restaurants in the old town after the Halles bridge to apply for a semi-gourmet service. The servers are in uniform with bow ties and the service is stilted. The Fischer Tavern is very successful. The cuisine is strongly influenced by Alsace. It would suit those who like a semi-gastronomic setting.

Chez Mamie Lise

Chez Mamie Lise is one of the most famous addresses in Annecy to taste a Savoyard specialty. I therefore recommend booking, especially in high season! Fondue, raclette, tartiflette and other small healthy dishes, the menu is rich in flavors! The place is super cozy with its intimate atmosphere of a small chalet and its traditional decor. In short, to taste a good cheese dish from the region, it’s here.
