The Balajo, the mythical place of Parisian nights

The Balajo has been one of the must-see places for all night owls who like to dance since 1935.

Salsa and rock evenings

Rue de Lappe, a stone’s throw from Place de la Bastille, is one of the most emblematic streets of Parisian nightlife. The Balajo has been located at number 9 since 1935 and remains an institution for all night owls and dance lovers ! In an unusual ballroom setting, the evenings follow one another and are not alike : salsa evenings, rock evenings…

Dancing teas on sundays and mondays

We have fun and we dance until dawn. Every Sunday and Monday afternoon is organized a dancing tea. “Everyone has come, is coming or will come one day to the Balajo”, such is the philosophy of this essential club.
