Alphonse Mucha, a figure of Art Nouveau will be honored during a superb exhibition at the grand immersive Palace.
A major figure in Art Nouveau
If you’re a lover of art and beauty, you won’t want to miss the “Eternal Mucha” exhibition being held at the Immersive Grand Palais from March 22 to November 5, 2023. This immersive and interactive exhibition will introduce you to the work and the legacy of Alphonse Mucha, one of Europe’s most famous artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

A major figure in Art Nouveau, pioneer of poster art and precursor of advertising, Alphonse Mucha was one of the most famous artists in Europe of his time.
From its beginnings, at the dawn of the Belle Époque, its style fascinated: magnifying nature, exalting feminine beauty, it applied to a wide variety of works and objects which met with resounding success.
Immersive, interactive and sensory experience
With Eternal Mucha, Grand Palais Immersif and the Mucha Foundation highlight the legacy of the master of Art Nouveau through an immersive, interactive and sensory experience. In three acts, the exhibition retraces the story of Alphonse Mucha and shows his major works, including the Slavic Epic, presented in a spectacular way. It also underlines the lasting influence of the artist, a source of inspiration for today’s creation, from street art to manga, from cinema to tattooing.

Through very high definition projections, an original musical and olfactory universe and interactive devices, Eternel Mucha offers visitors a unique dive into the heart of the work of an avant-garde artist, icon of refinement, elegance and modernity.
