The Pantheon and its sublime view of Paris from its colonnades is now possible and open to everyone !

To the top of the colonnade of the Pantheon

It is a great novelty for tourists and people eager for sensations or beautiful views. To have a panorama of Paris, you will no longer have to climb the Eiffel Tower or reach the top of the Arc de Triomphe, nor stay behind the windows of the Montparnasse Tower. It is now possible to climb to the top of the Pantheon, which honors the great figures in the history of France. A great first, because until now it was possible to climb to the top of the colonnade of the Pantheon, but only for those following a guided tour. In the heart of Paris, the Panthéon and its colonnade offer you a unique view of the greatest monuments of Paris such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Montparnasse Tower, the Center Georges Pompidou, the Arab World Institute, the Arc de Triomphe, but also its emblematic districts such as La Défense and its skyscrapers, Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur basilica, etc.

A 360° open-air view

Along the 203 steps, discover the heart of the monument through a circuit open half the year. After passing through the first terrace, you will already have a spectacular glimpse of what awaits you at the colonnade, a few meters higher : a 360° open-air view ! The Pantheon, which was the highest point in Paris from 1790 to 1889 (date of the construction of the Eiffel Tower), has an undeniable advantage over its competitors es-beautiful views, the Arc de Triomphe, the Center Pompidou or again the roof of Galeries Lafayette: its position, in the center of Paris.
Moreover, and above all, it has a historical charge of great wealth. It is in its crypt that rest 79 illustrious people in the history of France. Other tributes are also paid, such as those made to Guillaume Apollinaire or Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
