Pierre Niney in Yves Saint-Laurent movie
The biopic on Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani will be worn by actor Riccardo Scamarcio (who played in the second installment of the John Wick saga). Pierre Niney, for his part, slipped into the shoes of another painter from the School of Paris: Maurice Utrillo, the son of Suzanne Valadon, a great friend of Modigliani, with whom he toured bistros, bartering his paintings for glasses. Co-producer of the film, Al Pacino will camp for his part the wealthy collector Maurice Gangnat, a lover of avant-garde paintings.
Modi, whose exact release date is not yet known, remains eagerly awaited by art lovers and fans of Depp, who saw in this cursed painter the echo of his own destructive flaws…
