Want to impress your guests with a nice dessert to share or a wedding cake? And in addition add a little Frenchy touch? Try this pièce montée (French wedding cake) ombré madeleines!

A girly and French dessert

Just follow the traditional recipe for madeleines and then dip them in melted white chocolate. The “shaded” effect is obtained by adding a pink food coloring and increasing the dose poured into the white chocolate as the madeleines are planted in the cake. To plant the madeleines, just insert toothpicks in each madeleines and plant them on a polystyrene cone (manual work shop) starting at the bottom. Voilà !
